Since its creation in 1999, over $1 100 000 have been invested. Here are a few of our achievements:


Families from Quebec adopting children

  • Over 60 children (with a physical handicap or suffering from a chronic disease) were adopted from China, Cambodia and Vietnam.

Vietnam

  • An orphanage built in Tamky.
  • Support to the orphanage and to the parents adopting children from this orphanage.
  • Free consultation and medical treatments for handicapped and sick children.

Philippines

  • Acquisition of cribs and payment for the salaries of three nannies over a period of two years.

China

  • Purchase of rehabilitation equipment for children suffering from poliomyelitis as well as medical and surgical treatments for children suffering from cataracts.
  • Project of an early stimulation centre for children in China – project over a period of three years in collaboration with Half the Sky Foundation

Cambodia

  • Financing preliminary blood tests performed on all children admitted to the Nutrition Centre.
  • Financing the Nutrition Centre: amount given to the orphanage to pay for the children’s care and the salaries for nannies over a period of four years.

Haiti

  • Project of supporting an orphanage, Espoir d'enfants, where dozens of abandonned and orphaned children now live.
  • Support to Maison Arc en Ciel, offering community services and living accomodations to children infected or affected by Aids.
  • Microcredit project in Cazeau, suburb of Port-au-Prince, helping woment attain financial independance to support their families.
  • Project of serving breakfast at school, giving access to at least one daily meal to school aged children.

India

  • In collaboration with Fondation MEG, EMD Construction, Réseau ETS and Perspective-Inde, dorms, a school and a nursery were built to welcome up to 200 children in the village of Puri.
